EURECA-PRO Visiting the University of Petrosani
Between July 29 and August 1, the University of Petrosani hosted the official visit of a joint management delegation from the European alliance EURECA-PRO, an event that once again confirmed the important role that the Romanian higher education institution has in this international partnership.
The delegation consisted of representatives from the Technical University of Leoben (Austria) – the coordinating university of the project – and the German partner Hochschule Mittweida.
The main purpose of the meeting was to assess the progress made within the five work packages of the EURECA-PRO 2.0 project and to establish the next steps needed to achieve the objectives set by the end of the year. These steps are part of the preparation of the Progress Report to be submitted to the European Commission in December 2025.
The discussions held between the implementation team from the University of Petrosani and the representatives of the partner universities were appreciated as consistent and constructive, offering an ambitious and encouraging perspective for the next period. The focus was on creating a sustainable, inclusive and interconnected academic and professional ecosystem, in line with EURECA-PRO’s mission to encourage responsible production and consumption of goods and services.
