Future Energy Leaders Romania’s New Leadership Team for 2026

Olivian Savin Re-elected Executive Director

Future Energy Leaders (FEL) Romania, the youth platform of the Romanian National Committee of the World Energy Council (CNR-CME), announces the election of the Executive Director and the Department Leadership Team for 2026:

  • Olivian Savin – Executive Director, FEL Romania

Alongside the new team composed of:

  • Raluca Andronoiu – Marketing and Communication Manager
  • Ana Caldare – Community Manager
  • Ionut Diaconu – Programs and Events Manager
  • Daniela Goreacii – Regulatory and Public Affairs Manager

During the FEL Romania General Assembly held in February 2026, the new leadership team of the Steering Committee, responsible for coordinating the program, was elected. The Executive Director and FEL Board members are elected in separate sessions following the vote of active members in 2025, alumni, and representatives of CNR-CME.

The new FEL Romania leadership team aims to strengthen the community of young energy professionals so that it actively contributes to the development of the industry and continuously translates global energy trends into local public policy recommendations, concrete transition projects, and strategic initiatives. The Board maintains its diverse structure, with an increased representation of women, in line with the program’s ongoing commitment to diversity in energy leadership. At the same time, Raluca Gabor remains with the community as Board Advisor, complementing the final team with the expertise gained during her two mandates on the organization’s Board.

“I am honoured to continue serving as Executive Director of FEL Romania for another year and grateful for the trust placed in me through the members’ vote. Together with the new team, we aim to consolidate the program’s impact, develop relevant competencies for young energy professionals, and strengthen collaboration with the public sector, private sector, and academia. Our goal is to create the necessary context for professional growth through mentorship programs, technical visits, conference speaking engagements, and other related activities. We will continue our editorial projects, analyses, and information sessions, where we will share colleagues’ experiences on both specific and broader topics, including legal debates, workshops, and events. FEL Romania remains a platform that develops the leaders the energy transition needs,” stated Olivian Savin.

“I was pleasantly impressed by FEL’s activity in 2025 and believe that the entire team’s involvement in the events and initiatives organized represents a solid foundation for the action plan agreed upon for this year. I congratulate the newly elected Board and am confident that, together with all members, through the drive, enthusiasm, and professionalism they have demonstrated, they will achieve outstanding results under the FEL brand in 2026. I would like to assure them that they will benefit from our full support, from the leadership of CNR-CME, in all their initiatives,” noted Ion Lungu, President of CNR-CME.
